What is Respite Care?
Respite Care refers to temporary care of a loved one. Respite Care gives family caregivers an opportunity to address other needs like errands or attending to personal obligations. Respite Care also provides family caregivers with an opportunity for some self-care so they can return to their family caregiving refreshed and in a better state of mind.
Our personal care services are designed to help free you up so you can focus on your relationship with your loved one.
Respite Care can be anywhere from a few hours a week to temporary 24-hour care for up to 5 consecutive days. Respite Care can include any of our personal care services including:
Meal preparation
Housekeeping and chores
Transportation and errands
Personal care and supervision
Medication reminders
Companionship
